Here I have hope to share with you loads of tips tricks and ideas all on Weight loss, Weight gain, exercising and Dieting

  • Walk yr kids to school it has so Many benefits such as great exercise for all, quality time to spend with the kids, conversations my kids and I have have made our bond together stronger. Walking also get stay at home parents out and about and for those working parents if you cam spare the time do this if only for the extra time you spend with the kids.
  • When choosing a diet try and find one that has a variety of foods. There is nothing worse than being limited. Dont over do it on the carbs either
  • Sticking to a diet is hard I know I have been fighting it all my life. It can be hard trying to stay focused. I have found that allowing your self a small splurge once a week takes the pressure off.
  • I usually check my weight ever Thursday morning so from mid morning to afternoon I will spoil myself with a drink I don’t usually have or lunch that's not on my list if allowed foods. The trick is to not go over board. This breaks the boredom of the dieting.

 

  • When dieting remember slow and steady wins the race. Don't be disheartened when you don't lose or you gain there lots of things you need to factor in. For women we generally gave two weeks where we are either pre period or have our periods. I find that 7 times out if 10 I don't lose on these weeks. Stress should also be factored in. Your body is an amazing machine and reacts to your feelings.

  • Don't forget to drink yr two litres of water a day. This is hard when it's cold but I have found that drinking Rooibus tea with splenda (sweetener) helps. This herbal tea tastes very similar to regular black tea no need for milk just cool it with cold water if you want. You can buy this tea from yr supermarket

 

  • Water Water Water there'sso many benefits to water its better for you, helps cleanse your body, helps with  relief of headaches, water is free out of the tap but it is also one of the cheapest drink to by on the market, it is better for your teeth and gums, it freezes well.. So really why buy anything else???

 

  • I use 2 different diets and alternate weeks.
  • Swapping the diets around stops your body from getting into routine and it is great to stop the boredom of same old sane old.

  • Exercise is hard to get into, boy do I know. But did you know you burn off calories just by doing housework?
    Yes this is true to burn off even more put some music on and do little dances while your cleaning.
Some examples are -
  • Do lunges when washing up
  • Do lunges when sweeping, mopping or vacuuming
  • Do squats when wiping down walls cupboards
  • Do squats while putting away dishes or clothes away
  • Tense muscle while wiping the table/benches and use different movements
  • Wind the clothes line up a little higher and use hanging out the washing as great stretches
    Try and make as many actions into a exercise. 
    1 hour of 'exercise cleaning' burns off 180 calories and when the music’s going and you dance for 30 mins as well there's roughly 70-150 more calories burned.
    Who would have thought cleaning and exercise could be so much fun!

  • Use stairs instead of lifts it usually is quicker anyways after all that waiting for the lift to arrive and people to get out and others get in...

 

  • Park further away so you can walk better for you and easier to find a park his works great at the supermarket as pushing trolleys gives muscle resistance

 

  • Join in with the kids at the park and the pool swimming is fantastic for an all over body work out

 

  • Nintendo Wii are great fun for all the family And s great work out at the sane time

  • Even when sitting you pull yr stomach muscles in and hold do this when you can. To intensify alternate stretching one leg out
 
  • Remember that your feet hands and face need to be stretched as well, simple hand and foot stretches can help, try pulling different faces to keep muscles in your face toned

  • For weight gain have a slice of bread after a meal you can also have a flavored milk drink with a raw egg blended into it, a great protein hit
