Traveling

tips to the most out of your trips, whether it is a day trip, weekend getaway or long overseas trip I hope these will help you out

  • When going on holidays and there are sights you want to see check them out on line I recently saved 30% on ticket entries by booking and paying on line this goes for some carbines places too we saved nearly AUD$100 by pre paying our car
  •
  • Never be afraid to ring or email places to confirm their prices displayed on their website. You may just get someone who can offer you a deal they have going or coming upgoing that suits you.
On a recent trip to Europe two major sights I wanted to see had listed combined tickets for both. So I emailed both and got two different responses, one place said tickets were slightly dearer and they had to be paid for and picked up from their office while the other response said we could pay for the tickets on line and just hand over the confirmation email at the door and they were much more pleasant in their response too.
Oh and buying combined tickets and buying online saved us over AUD$60!!

  • When traveling research where you are going, look up local tourist information centers on line, look through travel forums ask friends and family advice.
Say your going to New York, google free sights in New York and see what you find.
Traveling can be expensive but with a good budget in plan and some ground work you can save yourself loads of money...

  • When packing roll clothes and then pack them, this allows more cloths to fit into your luggage and also stops wrinkles

  • My kids have a choice of either taking $5 to school on Fridays for lunch or saving it. They generally save and came up with near $200 spending money for our Europe trip

  • When going out for the day take a packed meal and drinks we use a supermarket chiller bag ($3). This saves not only money but waiting in lines at counter and supermarkets this great idea doe long train trips as food can be expensive on trains
